PICTOU – Joseph Angus MacIsaac, 57, of West River Rd., Pictou, passed away suddenly at home, June 20, 2009.
Born in Pictou, he was the son of the late Angus and Esther (Falconer) MacIsaac.
A fitter by trade, “ZZ” as he was known, began work at the Pictou Shipyard 40 years ago, and was looking forward to going back to the yard soon.
He is survived by children: Chris (Lorri) MacIsaac, London, Ontario; Bonnie (Chad) Hale, Thorburn; Emma Henderson, Calgary; grandchildren: Samantha, Jesse, Bradley, Addison; and his best friend and constant companion, his dog, Germaine.
Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. There will be no service at his request.
