1957 - 2010 - Eddie Doiron, 53, of Bouctouche Bay and formerly of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010. Born in Montreal on November 13, 1957, he was the son of Auguste Doiron of Cocagne, and the late Jeannette (Boudreau) Doiron. He will be sadly missed by his father Auguste, his two children Isabelle Doiron (Michael Doucet), Julien and his grandson Jaden all of Moncton, and the mother of his children Danielle Savoie. He also leaves to mourn his six sisters, Dianne Stables (Danny) of Ottawa, Nicole Savoie (Normand) of Bouctouche, Ginette Richard (Roméo) of Saint-Antoine, Denise Martin (Oswald) of Cocagne, Marie Bastarache (Joey) of Medway, MA, Linda Doiron of Shediac, one brother Daniel (Ginette) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 from 9 to 10:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 at 11:00 am with internment in the parish cemetery. In Eddie’s memory donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
