Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Walter Templeton Hospital, Bell Island, surrounded by his loving family, George William Kelly (May 5, 1921 - Nov. 24, 2010. Predeceased by his loving wife Elsie (1995). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: George (Lulu), Neil (Valerie), Tom (Lorna), John (Tammy) and daughters: Brenda Brown (Allan), Lydia Brazil (Paul, Cathy Mitchell (Bob), with whom he resided; his caregiver Brenda Carbage; brother-in-law Jim Bickford; sister-in-law Lucy Gear; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends (especially the boys at the Post Office). Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island, with visitation on Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael's Parish. Cremation to follow with burial at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
