Passed peacefully away on November 23, 2010 in the presence of her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Center, Ruby Pike, age 80 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Bill. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her daughter Elizabeth (Ed Lockyear); precious granddaughter Allie; one sister Bertha; sisters-in-law: Hilda Pike and Ellie Roberts; brothers-in-law: Mack (Ann) Pike and Jim (Ruby) Pike. Also leaving to mourn special niece Russie and special furry companion Victor; also leaving to mourn a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends; as well as best friend Gertie Elton. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor.
