Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Center in St. John's on Sunday, November 21, 2010, Lucy Mary Blagdon, age 51 years of Boxey. Leaving to mourn her loving family: mother, Susie G. Blagdon at Boxey; three brothers, Calvin (Ethel) at Boxey, Russell (Pearl) at St. John's, and Ricky (Brenda) at Lewisporte; three sisters, Christine (Lorne) at Paradise, Eunice (Andrew) at Catalina, and Susan (Leo) at Boxey; as well, her Toronto family: her partner of twelve years, Steve George, and his mother, Margaret George, and family; fourteen nieces and nephews; 8 grand nieces and nephews; and a circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by father, Jeremiah, in 1995; nephew, Brian Blagdon, in 2000, and infant brother in 1963. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Boxey with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Boxey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John The Evangelist Church.
