Donald Kevin Lively, 54, of Sydney, passed away at home on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010.
Born in Sydney, Kevin was a son of Eunice (MacDonald) Lively, Sydney, and the late Alex Lively.
Surviving are his daughter, Alison, Marion Bridge; son, Kevin, Kingston; sisters, Arlene (Dan) Fraser, Sydney, Ginny (Bob) Pawlik, Saskatchewan, Sandy (Charlie) Malinowski, Sydney, Joyce (Kevin MacNeil), Sydney, and Michelle (Gary) Ross, Moncton; brothers, Jack (Judy), Howie Centre, Barry, Calgary, and Lawrie (Joyce), Sydney; three grandchildren, Lyle, Shamus and Gracen.
Besides his father, Kevin was predeceased by his brother, Sandy.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel today (Friday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Anthony O'Connor officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the An Cala palliative care unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the VON.
