Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 22, 2009, surrounded by his loving family, Albert Francis Daley, formerly of St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Bay, in his 88th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (Molloy); sisters: Mary (Marrie), Gunilda; brother Joseph and son-in-law Wayne (Stockwood). Leaving to mourn his “three girls” Catherine, Joanne (Pat Thompson) and Carol (Darrell Boone); his adored grandchildren: James Stockwood, Paddy, Conor and Mara Thompson, Hannah and Nora Boone, a large circle of nieces and nephews, cousins and the many friends that shared his life’s journey. The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude for the exemplary care, kindness and compassion of the staff at Chancellor Park, with a special thank you to Dr. Crocker. Visitation with the family at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, June 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick St. on Thursday, June 25 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
