Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor in Placentia on Saturday November 27, 2010 aged 98. (Formerly of Red Island, and Little Paradise Placentia Bay). Predeceased by her husband Michael 1990, her son Michael 1969, and her infant children Rita, Joseph and Bernadette, her granddaughter Sharon Counsel 1981, two brothers and three sisters. Left to celebrate her legacy and a wonderful full life are two sons, Patrick ( Lucy Hennessey), Tom (Helen Fitzgerald) five daughters, Marie (Francis Whelan) Anne (Vincent Carroll) Donnie (Jim Leonard) Marion (Wayne Dawe) and Anita (Dick Bruce), sister-in-law Lena Barry, 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.Numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Maher's Funeral Home in Placentia on Sunday, Nov 28, 7 - 9 p.m, Monday Nov 29, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. with vigil starting at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Placentia Tuesday November 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
