1925 ~ 2010

John William White of Kamloops passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 84 years of age.

He is survived by his loving children Andrew (Shelley) White of Yarrow, B.C., Tom (Kathy) White of Winnipeg, MB, and Mary Ann Androlick of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; grandchildren Adam (Jennifer) White, Jake and Cole Androlick, Peter and Stacy White, and Jennifer and Myles White; great granddaughter Sophia White, sister Joan McArthy and brother Richard White.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary on December 30, 2008.

John was born in Summerside, Newfoundland in 1925. He went to war in 1942 at the age of 17. In 1949 he travelled to Revelstoke, met Mary and they were married in the same year. He was employed with CP Rail for 38 years. John retired in Kamloops and resided at Cottonwood Manor until his passing.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Kamloops Hospice, the CWL and to his friends at Cottonwood.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 635 Tranquille Road. Reverend Father Peter Hoan Nguyen, Celebrant.
