DUKE, Violet Mary (nee King) — Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Care Centre in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, October 11, 2008, age 73 years. Predeceased by her parents Dennis and Annie King, brothers Edward, Raymond, and George, sister Hannah Daley, brother in law Dan Daley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Raymond, four sons Raymond (Colleen), Charlie, Dennis and Edward, five daughters Jane (Allan), Denise (Shawn), Madeline (Don), Doreen (Gord), Ann Marie (Leon), 14 grandchildren, brother James King , Placentia, sister Madeline (John Power), P.E.I., brother Charlie King (Jenny), Toronto, sister in law Sadie King, Holyrood. Also, a large circle of relatives and friends.Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday October 14 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater.
