(1926 - 2010) - REXTON, NB - Theresa Doucette 84, of Rexton passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, Rexton on Monday, November 29th, 2010. Born in St. Anne de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Clement and late Sara (Richard) Caissie. Theresa attended the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Rexton. She was a member of the Rexton Golden Age Club, C.W.L., Richibucto Legion Branch No. 30 Ladies Auxiliary and a Lioness in the Rexton Lion's Club. Theresa is survived by her husband; George Doucette of Rexton, two daughters; Rose Marie Doucette of Moncton, Linda Thompson (Greg) of Richibucto, one son; Bernard (Bernadine) of Lincoln, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one sister; Mary Allain of St. Edouard de Kent, one brother; André Caissie (late Lea) of Shediac, brother in law; Norman Allain of Fredericton, sister in law; Alice Nowlan of Moncton, 23 nieces and 24 nephews. Theresa was predeceased by an infant son; Raymond, a daughter; Gloria (late Gerald), four sisters; Delia Maillet, Claire Gautreau, Irene Bourque, Sister Imelda Caissie and four brothers; Jim Caissie, Pierre Caissie, Alphonse Caissie and Laurie Caissie.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6:00 PM until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at 7:00 pm, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
