NEW GLASGOW - David Scott Snell, 40, of Brother Street, New Glasgow, passed away November 30, 2010, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Catherine (Lamb) Snow and the late Norman Snell.
Surviving besides his mother, Catherine Snow and step-father, Tory Snow, New Glasgow, are a daughter, Brianna, Kitimat, BC; a brother, Robbie (Melinda), Westville; a sister, Cindy (Mark) Wells, Terrace, BC; step-brothers, Charlie, Arty, Gordie and Hank, all of Canso; step-sisters: Darlene, New Glasgow; Carolyn, Sackville; Stacey, Dartmouth; Odessa, New Glasgow; and May, Halifax; nieces: Megan, Kennedy and Kamryn; a nephew, Travis; one great-niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special aunt, known to him as "Nannie Sharon".
David was predeceased by his father, Norman Snell; grandparents, Francis and Lloyd Lamb and Gwenth and Fred Snell.
Cremation to take place. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Peter Armstrong presiding.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
