FORD, Hannah (Howe) — Passed away on October 12, 2008, a long-time community volunteer and literacy advocate. Hannah (Howe) Ford, last surviving child of Selina and Thomas Howe, JP, ISM. Predeceased by husband Augustus, son-in-law Joseph, brothers Thomas (Maude) and Raymond; sisters Mary (Ben), Alice (Walter) and Eneth (John). Leaving to mourn daughters Joan and Augusta; sister in-law Florence; special nephews Tom (Frances), and Leo (Helen), nieces Eliza, Phyllis and Dawne; grand-nephews Morley and Bryan; very special friends Bernice Bartlett, Alice and Victoria Stavely, Joan Basic, Gertrude Andrews, Jim Small and Stephen Motty. Special neighbours Dave and Robert; also many relatives and friends in England, Australia, United States and mainland Canada. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday October 14, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday October 15, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday October 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Thomas Howe Forest Foundation Inc.
