Norman V. Raynard, 68, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Huskins) Raynard. Norman was a retired insurance broker with 38 years service. He was Past President of the Moncton Rotary Club, the NB Insurance Brokers Association and the Saint John Jaycees. Norman enjoyed travelling, "puttering" at the cottage at Cumberland Bay, reading, curling, music, playing the organ and guitar, socializing with his friends and spending precious time with his family. Norman will be sadly missed by his wife of over 46 years, Christina M. (Ekstrom); his children, Cheryl Stuart (Herman Hemmen), Norman (Karen), both of Moncton and Shane (Tracy) of Lower Coverdale; precious grandsons, Justin, Norman and Jonathan; sister, Agnes Rushton (Joe), NS; niece, Cathy and nephew, Curtis.

Celebration of Life Service for Norman at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday December 6, 2010, 1:00 pm, Archdeacon Reginald Stockall officiating.
