It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas James Hall, age 64, at his residence in Portugal Cove on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth Hall, sister Annmarie and brothers: Ronald and Edward. Left with fond and cherished memories, his wife Helen; sons: Derrick, Glenn (Denise), Chris (Nancy) and his precious grandchildren: Adam, Justin, Brandon, Brittany, Christopher, Gregory and Demetris, whom he dearly loved. Tom will be missed by his brothers: Michael, Jimmy, Sandy (Susan) and Terry; sisters: Linda (Roger Thomas), Judy and Debbie. Leaving with lots of memories, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Bertha (George Brown), Hannah (Ron Barker), Winnie (Melvin Cooper), Sandra (Dave Barrington), Ivy (Harold Hibbs), Glenda (Ralph Roberts), Marion Johnson, Madge Penney, Violet Penney, Becky Miller; special fishing buddy Sam Penney; also leaving to mourn his special cousin Shirley Tapp (Jim), special friends: Mary and Henry Tucker, Carolann Rogers, Kelly Whelan and Alex Crocker and he was loved by his many nieces and nephews. Also leaving to mourn many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 4th at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Portugal Cove. No flowers by request.
