Dad,
Ten years have passed since that sad day
When you were called so far away
The pain is less but we also know
In many ways, our Love still grows.

A Sunday drive down our childhood street
Brings pangs of sadness bitter sweet
For no matter the time which marches on
We remember still from where we've come!

The Home you built remains today
On a solid foundation which you first laid
You worked so hard to make it strong
Your endless toil went on and on!

But it matters not if the house still stands
The important thing is that by your hands
We always knew that no matter where
You held us in your constant care.

There are still many smiles of memories past
Enough of them we know will last
For although the years continue to pass
The love in our hearts remains steadfast.
