STOCKWOOD, Melvin M.- Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex on Dec. 2, 2010, Melvin M. Stockwood, aged 92 years. Predeceased by his son Garry. Leaving to mourn with precious memories wife Alice; daughters: Pauline and Marilyn; brothers: Cecil (Jean), Everett; sister Evelyn Blakney; brother-in-law Leslie Wheeler. Also leaving with fond and loving memories a large circle of nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Melvin's life will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in Melvin's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
