AGNES MACGILLIVRAY
We, the family of Agnes MacGillivray, of 2227 Sydney Road, Reserve Mines, express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all her relatives, friends, and neighbours who helped in any way to celebrate her life for her final farewell. Thanks to those who sent food, mass offerings, sympathy cards, donations, flowers, and the many phone calls. Very special thanks to Dr. Mark Ellerker for always being there for Mother; we are forever grateful for the kindness and compassion you showed at all times. Thank you to the nurses and staff (outpatient department and 3rd West) of the Glace Bay General Hospital, for the great care Mother received over the four days, while in hospital. Thank you to Fr. Danny Boudreau for the heartfelt funeral mass and very touching sermon; to the pall bears, Adrian McNamara, Bob MacDonald, Cyril Abbass, Mick MacAdam, Harold MacDonald, and Alfred Dinaut. Thanks also to the readers: Caitlin MacGillivray (grand-daughter), Jaclyn MacAdam (grand-niece), and Maureen Morrissey (cousin), and the communion offering by grand-daughters Catherine MacGillivray, Brittany McNamara, Bridget MacGillivray, and Caitlin MacGillivray. Sincere thanks to the St. Joseph's CWL for the honor guard, and to Elaine Haighway, Delores Marsh and the ladies of St. Joseph's Choir for the beautiful music. Thank you to the St. Joseph's Reception Committee for the lovely lunch. Thanks to Rita Tompkins and the staff of V.J. McGillivray's Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism shown at all times.
