MAGEE – Erma Mabel
January 26, 1933 – June 22, 2009
Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend left us peacefully on June 22, 2009. She was born January 26, 1933, in Saskatoon, SK, the daughter of the late Erma Chernick. She was the second oldest of 4 siblings. On January 12, 1952 she married Charlie Magee and they were happily married for 57 years. Erma was the backbone behind Magee Construction as the faithful bookkeeper and Charlie’s wife. Erma and Charlie devoted their life to their business and created a trucking family of workers, who loved Erma like their Mom. They even called her Mom! She treated them like she was their mother. She is survived by her loving husband Charlie; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Alice Magee of Prince Albert; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Susan Magee of Prince Albert; grandchildren Robert (Robbie) Magee of Creighton, Tyler Magee of Prince Albert, Amanda Magee of Prince Albert, Jason Magee of Matapedia,QC, Breanne Magee of Prince Albert, Diandra Magee of Prince Albert; great grandchild Corbin Magee of Matapedia, QC and sisters Rosemary Jackson of Fountain Valley, California and Patsy Clarkson of Port Alberni, BC. Erma was preceded in death by her father Joseph Chernick; her mother Erma Chernick and brother Edward Chernick. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 581 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, with Mr. Brian Clarke officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
