Gary Gillam, brothers Albert and Edward Pieroway, and sisters-in-law Rhoda Wells, Eileen Pieroway, and Muriel Gillam. While Don was alive she enjoyed arranging the beautiful flowers he grew and discussing the political scene with him. Above all she loved her family and was dearly loved in return. Vera always had a positive outlook and despite the painful loss of loved ones considered herself blessed. She was an integral part of the lives of her grandchildren and daughter. Following a funeral service in New Haven, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held in Corner Brook later this summer and she will be laid to rest next to Don in Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, her family requests donations to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral Main Street Corner Brook, Mount Patricia Cemetary Fund or a Newfoundland charity of your choice.
