Arthur Stanley Meisner age 82, of Amherst passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS.
Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late David and Hazel (MacKay) Meisner.
Arthur was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He cherished the privilege of spending time sharing the Bible's message of a better future and life on a paradise Earth under God's Kingdom.
Arthur is survived by three sons; Robert (Wanda), Ronald (Cathy) and Russell (Angie) all of Amherst and one daughter Sharon (Lauchie) MacLean of Quesnel, BC, six grandchildren Jason, Douglas, Ryan, Hannah, Amy and Chris, two great grandchildren Gracie and Hunter and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Doreen Thompson, one son Robie, two brothers Roy and Earl and two sisters Helen and Dorothy.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, NS.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Amherst.
