Phyllis Lila Mitchell, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Maplestone Enhanced Care in Halifax, N.S. Beloved wife of Gordon Mitchell for 58 years, she was predeceased by her parents Hartley and Stella (Lane) Mullen and brothers John Wesley Mullen and Verdie Mullen. Born on Grand Manan Island, N.B., she lived most of her life in Marysville, Nashwaaksis, Halifax N.S. and other locations in the Maritimes. Survived by daughters Ruth Mitchell and Joan Mowry (Dave); eight grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Symonds officiating.
