(October 28th, 1945 - December 1st, 2010). It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gordon Halley on December 1, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer, Gordon Halley, age 65 years. Leaving to celebrate his life are the people who walked every step of the way through his illness with him; his loving and devoted wife Kolleen (Keough). The person who he adored and who could make poppy smile when no one could; poppy's princess Tori; remembering their wonderful fishing trips his fishing buddy son Gord (Judy Skinner) and their children Erica Skinner and Tori Halley; son Stephen (Nellie) and their daughter Justina; sisters: Mary Carole (Jack Withers) and Patricia; mother-in-law Bernice Keough; sister-in-law Tara (Brian) Halley; brothers-in-law: Johnny and Shannon (Karen) Keough. He also leaves behind step-children: John Clousten (Jeannie) and their children Jonathan and Brittany; Holly (Frank Hickey), their children: Jayden and Tyler; Krista Clousten (Trevor) and daughter Jessica. Ever remembered by many nieces and nephews: Karen Withers Janssen (Nick), John (Jo) Withers, Nick (Heather Withers), Stephanie (Jason) Hussey, Ashley (Dave) Squires, Angela Keough, Shawn and Erin Keough. Sincere thanks to our employer Deloitte and all our friends and colleagues for all their understanding and kindness throughout Gord's illness. It has meant so much to both of us, without your kindness we could not have made it through this past year. Thank you to the Dr. H. Bliss Cancer Care Centre; Dr. Siddique, Dr. McIssac and Dr. Hiscock for their care and guidance during Gord's illness. By Gord's request cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Pius X Church on Friday, December 10th at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations in Gord's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Cancer Care Foundation.
