It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nelson David Snow (March 25, 1946 - Dec. 6, 2010)of Rocky Harbour, NL, announce his tragic passing on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 in Forteau, Labrador at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Sharon (Bruce) Rumbolt and Lisa (Donny) Hatcher; special friend Brenda Elford; his pride and joy his special grandchildren Rochelle Rumbolt and Chloe Hatcher; mother Mary Snow; sisters and brothers Cathy (Larry) Prieur, Ronald Snow, Richard (Irene) Snow, Betty (Blaine) Christopher, Harold (Beverly) Snow and Winston (Marie) Snow; extended family friends Dana Pittman and Neil Pittman; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by his father Raymond Snow, brother Howard Snow, grandparents John and Annie Snow. Friends visited St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour on Wednesday evening and Thursday from where the funeral service took place on Friday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Olsson officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew's Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
