The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 of Eva Mary Richard (nee Peters) of Summerside and formerly of Duvar , P.E.I., aged 78 years. Eva was born on Nov. 8, 1932 in Duvar, P.E.I. to her late parents, Oliver and Elizabeth Peters. Loving mother of Barry (Patty), Elaine and Donna all of Summerside, Steve (Sharon) of Stratford, Bob (Penny) of Pictou, N.S., Mike (Donna) of Souris and David (Cliff) of Moncton, N.B. Also lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Eva was predeceased by sisters Rita and Stella and brothers Burt, Roger, Pius, William and Leo. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Eva's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund may be made at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside.
