Wheeler, Verna Isabelle "Park", 97, of Pinegrove, Col. Co., passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at Val's Rest Home in Hilden. Born in Beaver Brook on August 29, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Evard Park and Lina (Crowe) Park Pendleton. She was married to Howard Kent Wheeler of Massachusetts for 10 years. Most of her working life was spent in Massachusetts and Connecticut USA, having moved there at 13 years of age. She had a lifetime interest in handcrafts, animals and especially gardening, which she enjoyed until her death. She outlived all of her family members by many years. She was predeceased by brothers, Edgar Earl Park and Stanley Lloyd Park all of whom were born in Beaver Brook NS. No visitation or funeral service by her request. A graveside service and interment will be held at a later date in the Old Barns Cemetery, Old Barns. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Colchester S.P.C.A.
