Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, of Mrs. Lillian (nee MacKinnon) Gillespie, of Charlottetown and formerly of Springvale, age 90 years.
Wife of the late John Gillespie. Dear mother of Samuel (Mary MacKay) Gillespie, Gloria Richard, Donalda (Reggie) Doucette, Marjorie (Marc) Dionne, Valerie Gillespie, John Gillespie (Jennifer Ballem) and James (Roxanne) Gillespie. Also survived by 25 loving grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her infant daughter, Ruth Esther; daughter, Dorothy Wellman; parents, Herbert and Pearl (nee Stevenson) MacKinnon; brothers, James, Harry, Robert; and sister, Dorothy Green.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home. Funeral service Sunday from Calvary Temple at 3 p.m. Interment to follow in Hartsville Cemetery.
