It is with great sadness that the family of the late Keith Pelley announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, December 10, 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 47 years Ruby (Burton), two daughters: Bonita (Dwight Hatcher) and Deanna (Darren Wells), three grandchildren: Justin and Rob (Walsh) and Allyssa (Pelley-Wells) all of Corner Brook. Keith also leaves behind his sisters Betty Martin, of Ontario, Doreen (Henry Burton) and Patricia (George Perrett) his brothers: Donald, Lloyd (Christina), Leonard (Margaret), his in-laws; Flossie of Alberta, Elizabeth (Joe Hann), Marion, Mable (Ernie Reid), Fred (Sylvia) Pearl of South Carolina. Keith leaves to mourn many extra special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially a dear friend Dougal Wells. He is predeceased by his parents Chesley & Frona Pelley and his sister Rose Kelly. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, December 12th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will take place at Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Majors Calvin & Loretta Fudge officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Wednesday Men's Prayer Luncheon Group of Salvation Army Temple or Corner Brook Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.
