Gay Loretta Lewis, 63, Hills Rd., Albert Bridge, passed Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Marion (Willis) Reid.
Gay retired from the Children's Training Center after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Trinity United Church.
Surviving are her loving husband of 39 years, Earl; sisters, Phyllis (Spencer) Jones, Ottawa, Carolyn Abramson, B.C. and Deborah Devison, New Waterford; two special nieces, Amanda and Susan; several other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Hardwood Hill Cemetery on Tuesday 11 a.m., with Archbishop Vincent Waterman officiating.
