Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Monday, June 22, 2009, age 78 years. Predeceased by his wife Muriel. Leaving to mourn his daughter Elizabeth Slade (Boyd); grandson Jonathan; brothers Donald (Marie) Paradise and Samuel, Upper Gullies; sisters-in-law Una, Elizabeth Yarn and Blanche Yarn, all of Halifax; brother-in-law Roy Yarn, Halifax; also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap.
