Clarence Glencross
Clarence A. Glencross 79 of Maynard, MA passed away December 4, 2010 at Sudbury Pines, Sudbury MA, after a long illness. He was born in Upper Rexton, New Brunswick. Clarence was the son of the late Theodore and Margaret (Crossman) Glencross. He moved to Sudbury from McKees Mills in 1962 to farm in Concord and Sudbury. Later in his career he started his own trucking business, C.A. Glencross Trucking, working in construction and snow plowing, including plowing during the blizzard of '78. He was a member of Sudbury United Methodist Church, Sudbury, MA. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie (Biggs) Glencross; daughter Janet Glencross and her companion Jonathan McGee of Southborough, MA; sons Carl and his wife Dana of Oklahoma City, OK; Donald and his wife Monica of Maynard, MA; granddaughters Kelly Tetreault, Allyson Tetreault, and Hillary Glencross; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by all of his siblings: Violet (her husband Arthur Wilkins surviving), infant sister Margaret, brothers Chester, William, Donald (whose wife Glennis is surviving), Harry (his wife Rose surviving), and Robert.
