The death of Mrs. Annie MacFarlane, of the Carleton Kirk Lodge, widow of the late Lloyd A. "Buck" MacFarlane occurred on December 11, 2010 at her residence. Born on December 24, 1915 in Elmsdale, PEI, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Emma (Stubbs) Hardy. She is survived by her daughters Beverley (Wayne) Bentley of Chandler, Arizona, and Donna (Gerald) Maxwell of Grand Bay - Westfield, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents and husband Lloyd, she was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Annie is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday at 11 am from Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701).
