Passed peacefully away on December 11th, 2010 at The Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her loving family Hattie Hibbs aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold (Con) (2002). Left to mourn her loving children, Bazel (Barb), Stan (Denise), Melvin (Barbara), Evelyn, Harold (Ivy) Jackie, Clara (Blaine), Connie (Lees); 18 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren as well as 1 sister and 2 brothers also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including special family friend Fred Wilson. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Memorial United Church Portugal Cove on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Memorial United Cemetery Bauline Line.
