Ethel Taylor

Ethel Matilda Taylor, 95, of The Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Salisbury and Lewis Mountain passed away at the home on Monday, December 13, 2010. Born in Dobson's Corner she was a daughter of the late James and Ella Lounsbury. A graduate of the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton she was a retired school teacher with over 35 years dedicated service. A member of the Lewis Mountain Baptist Church, she was a former sunday school teacher, treasurer and member of the W.M.S. She enjoyed gardening especially her flowers and took great pride and joy in her two grandaughters. Survived and sadly missed by her son Peter; grandaughters Catherine (Katie) and Rebecca (Becky) and nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband Leonard (1992); brothers Albert and Frank Lounsbury; sisters Hazel Tingley, Carrie Perry, Edna Keith, Muriel Taylor and Eileen McCully.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and from where the Funeral will be Thursday, December 15 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Vincent Burgess officiating. Interment at Lewis Mountain Cemetery. If desired memorials to the Lewis Mountain Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. www.keirsteads.ca
