Dad was a dedicated government employee for all of his working life. His specialty was radio technology, serving as the O.I.C. for the D.O.T. in Crescent Valley, Ashcroft and in Kamloops until his early retirement at the age of 58.

Throughout his life, dad had many hobbies he excelled at; among them were ham radio, boat building, carpentry, building sound equipment and always, music. He and mom enjoyed their activities together as they boated on the Shuswap, travelling and camping to visit friends and relatives.

A most talented guitar and instrument player, he shared these gifts with his family, friends and fellow musicians. Being a member of the "The Old Time Fiddlers" and "The V.I.P. Band" enabled him to entertain the public, especially the extended care facilities.

"Thank you for your music Dad (Grandad)"

Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Overlander Extended Care for being there for him when we weren't able to.

A Service of Remembrance will take place at 10:00 a.m. on December 18th, 2010 at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
