POWER, Margaret — Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, on October 11, 2008, in the presence of her loving family, Margaret Power aged 96 years, of Branch, St. Mary’s Bay. Predeceased by husbands Robert Power (1944) and Ambrose Power (2003), parents Nicholas and Margaret Careen, brothers John, Patrick and Anthony and son-in-law Allan Roche. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are cherished sons and daughters: Marie Roche of St. John’s, Aloysius (Florence) of St. John’s, Flossie Pond (Earl) of St. John’s and Bob (Nora) of Holyrood. Remembering Nanny with love and many treasured memories are: Bev, Gwen, Marie, Rob, Brian, Lynn, Ian, Margie, Gloria, Anne Marie, Earlene, Elaine, Mark, Melissa and Gillian and great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Ryan, Colin, Maggie, Malcolm, Milo, Allyson, Luke, Laura, Maria, Anna, Kiera and Samuel. Mourning the loss of a dear sister are: Edward (Ned) Careen, Theresa Roche and Annie Conway Pittman.
