The death occurred peacefully, at her late residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, of Roma Phaneuf of Summerside, aged 83 years. Born in Murray River, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Edna (Jenkins) Jenkins. Survived by children, Lynn (Brian) MacInnis, Travellers Rest; Heather (Erwin) Maynard, Port Hill; Paul (Amber) Phaneuf, Edmonton, Alta.; Honorable Janice (Steven) Sherry, Summerside; Lisa (Paul) Campbell, Summerside; grandchildren, Kim (Greg) Noonan; Karen (Marc) Cyr; Andrew Maynard (Annie Gallant); Sarah Maynard (Kyle Hardy); Dion Phaneuf (Elisha Cuthbert); Dane Phaneuf; Meagan (Shawn) Gallant; Jennifer Sherry; Lucas Sherry (Christina Steele); Jessica Campbell; Amy Campbell; Ryan Campbell; great-grandchildren, Landon Cyr; Ashlynn Cyr; Raleigh Noonan; sisters, Wilma (Ed) McNeill; Yvonne DeCoste; half-brother, Gordon (Rosemary) Jenkins; sisters-in-law, Marie Jenkins and Dorothy Kerr; and by brother-in-law, Don Phaneuf. Predeceased by her husband, Russell Phaneuf; brothers, Lester and Bennett Jenkins; and by her sister, Olive "Babe" Powell. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, (98 Water Street - private entrance in rear of Waterfront Mall), until Wednesday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations to the East Prince Home Care, Palliative Care Program or Home Instead Senior Care would be appreciated.
