Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on Friday, December 10th, Emily Violet Abbott of Hr. Mille, age 99yrs. Predeceased by parents William and Frances Scott, husband William James Abbott, sisters Margaret Myles, Louisa Fudge, Janet Scott and Elizabeth Scott; brothers Edward Scott and Scott Baker, adopted parents Mary and John Winsor, adopted sisters Elizabeth Pardy and Rebecca Pittman, adopted brother George Winsor; son-in-law Merriel Pardy and granddaughter Wanda Pauline Pardy. Leaving to mourn: daughters Francis Barnes(Cecil) of Brampton, Ontario, Margaret Pardy and son Albert Abbott(Sarah) of Hr. Mille; 7 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and adopted brother James Winsor. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev.Ken Abbott at 2pm on Monday Dec.13, from St. Mary's Anglican Church Hr.Mille. Interment followed at St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Hr. Mille. Organist was Sylvia Moulton.Pall Bearers were Albert Abbott,Colin Dominaux,Gregory Abbott ,James Abbott, Anthony Abbott and Merrill Abbott.
