Stellarton : Vernon Gordon Fraser age 81 of 113 Riverbank Street , Stellarton passed away on Monday December 13th ,2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow.
Born in Stellarton he was the son of the late John and Frances (Clark) Fraser.
Vernon was a resident of Stellarton most of his life with the exception of a few years he resided in MacLellan's Brook.
He was a former employee of Trenton Steelworks .
Vernon was a member of Christ Anglican Church.
Surviving are sons: Vernon (Sally) Fraser of Westville
Douglas Fraser of Trenton
A number of Stepsons and daughters
A number of grandchildren and nieces and nephews
A sister Phyllis Fraser of Stellarton
He was predeceased by his wife the former Doreen Mason
Sisters: Marnie , Dorothy and Jean
His remains will rest in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Home for visitation 2-4 and7-9 P.M. on Thursday.
Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 A.M from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating .
Burial will be in the Castle Hill Cemetery.
