1935 - 2010 - Mildred (Millie) Anne Power of Riverview, NB passed away on Monday, at the age of 75. Born on June 2, 1935 in Brockville, ON, she was the daughter of the late John Edward (Ted) and the late Anna Marie (Greer) Power. Millie was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview. She was a member of A.C.W. and also a member of Probus Club. Millie retired from Bell Canada in 1996 in Ottawa and took up residence in Riverview. She is survived by her son; Robert Mepham (Michelle) of Barrie, ON, daughters; Lisa Mepham (Micheline) of Riverview and Marianne Newton (David) of Lower Coverdale, as well as, four grandchildren; Melissa, Drew, Lexi and Brittaney, her brother; John Power (Margaret) of Cambridge, ON, as well as a special nephew; Stephen Power (Heather) of Stouffeville, ON. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister; Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Power in 1968.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Ave., Riverview on Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 pm, with the Reverend Brent Ham officiating. Interment will take place in St. James Anglican Cemetery in Maitland, ON at a later date. Donations made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or Canadian Association for Williams Syndrome would be appreciated by the family.
