Born in Glenwood, on July 19, 1926, son of the late Bayfield and Mary (MacLean) Betts. Dear father of Glen (Nancy), Glenwood. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Glenwood and Nicole (Jamie Bradley), Charlottetown. Great Grandfather of Naomi of Glenwood. Brother of Tish Lidstone, Dunblane and Yvonne (James) Bagaloe, O'Leary. Brother in Law of Carman (Betty) Gay, Rosebank; and May Moran , O'Leary. Predeceased by brother Orville, brother in laws Arthur MacWilliams and Keith Lidstone, and sister in law of Marjorie (Arthur) Smith. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours on Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Glenwood United Church Cemetery. Memorials to the Lung Association (PEI), or the Glenwood United Church Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
