Mitchell - Isobel Catherine (Kay) age 69 of Swift Current and formerly of Tompkins, passed away November 30, 2010 at Swift Current Care Centre. The funeral service was held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm from St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Tompkins, Saskatchewan with Reverend Eleanor Rockabar officiating. The organist was Clara Butler and eulogist was Carrie Mitchell. Ushers were Michael Mitchell and Keith Parker. The interment service was held at Tompkins Cemetery with the honorary pallbearers being all who shared in her life. Kay is survived by her mother Emily; sister Jacqueline (Brian) Parker and brother Ken (Carol) Mitchell; nieces Carrie Mitchell, Sherry (Jeff) Wall and Mary Ellen Krempasky; nephews Keith Parker, Michael Mitchell, William Mitchell and Ian Parker; also great nieces and nephews Robert Huisman,Alex Nikki and Raya Huisman, Michael Huisman,Alex Blais,Gregory Mitchell,Nathallie Huisman, Brandon and Tyler Mitchell, Christopher Parker, Owen Wall, Kelsey and Shalyn Krempasky as well as numerous cousins. Kay was predeceased by her father John Mitchell, her grandparents William and Marion Mitchell and Charles and Elsie Faulkner, aunts and uncles William Mitchell, Marion and Ian Forbes and Sonny and Hazel Faulkner. Kay was born in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, April 12, 1941. She loved to listen to music, color in her books, play cards and visit with her family and friends. She was gifted with an exceptional memory.
