We, the family of the late Claire Elaine Wall wish to express sincere thanks from the bottom of our hearts. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support offered to our family. We thank you for your many acts of kindness, words of comfort, messages of sympathy, visitations, cards, flowers, meals, mass offerings, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, MacGillivray Guest Home and visits to our home during and following our sad loss. A sincere thanks to all to all friends and family who travelled to be with us - your support will forever be remembered. Thank you to uncle Father Owen Connolly for your beautiful homily, spiritual guidance and presence in our lives. To the clergy that celebrated at the altar for Mom's service: Fr. Jim Oliver, Fr. Donald MacGillivray, Fr. Albert Maroon, Fr. Joe A. MacNeil, Fr. Sandy MacNeil, Fr. Errol MacDonald, Fr. Angus MacDougall, Fr. Frank Abbass, Fr. Joe Gillis, Fr. Norman MacPhee, Fr. Charles Donovan. We were deeply touched. Thank you to Barry Grant, Tom Farr and Dana Wall for your strength and beautiful readings. Eucharistic Ministers and sisters June Cashen, Dorothy MacDonald, Anne Marie Mc Carthy, Margie Gillis, Barbara MacDonald, David Gillis, Barbara MacLean, Ada Hagen and altar servers. Thank you to pallbearers - Mom's six brothers: David, Allen, Joe, Peter, Blaise and Paul Gillis. You have made her proud. Thank you to KOC 1060 and St. Theresa's CWL for the prayer services. A special thanks to St. Theresa's CWL for the Honor Guards, beautiful reception and the Ashby Legion for accomodating the reception. Rose Conohan, thank you for your kindness in preparing meals following the visitation and funeral and Sue Floyd for helping. Thank you to the Holy Redeemer, St. Theresa's Senior Choir and organist Pierce Sampson; your music was beautiful. Donnie Campbell and Howie MacDonald, Mom so loved your music..such a fitting tribute - Thank you. Thank you to the management and staff of Gillis Homebuilding Ctr. A special thanks to T.W. Curry staff, especially Trevor Tracey who went above and beyond in providing comfort for our family. Colleen Kingsbury, you are a special person.
