Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Home on June 25th, 2009, Minnie Gladys Pratt, age 90 years. Predeceased by her parents Duncan and Christina Parsons, husband Arthur Pratt and brothers Mac, Austin and Jim. Left with fond and loving memories her sons: Douglas (Rosalind) and Gerry (Wanda); four grandchildren: Andrew Pratt (Courtney), Karen Smith (Andrew), Lindsey Pratt and Holly Pratt and their mother Carol; one great-grandson Max; sisters: Hazel Griffin of Ontario, Evelyn Norman, Marie White (Charlie) and Jean Clarke, all of Corner Brook; brothers: Gerald of Ontario and Roger (Fay) of Springdale; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Friday, June 26th from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Saturday, June 27th from 10 a.m. - noon. Funeral service from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
