Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, Bessie Davis of Clarenville, aged 86 years. Predeceased by husband Lloyd; son Gerald; sister Pearl Sweetapple and brother Cyril Strong. Left with fond and loving memories her children Bette Cooper (Selby), Clarenville, Gord (Evelyn), Clarenville, Gary, Clarenville, Graham (Linda), Clarenville, Louise (Louis), St. John's and Ann Trowbridge (Bill), Clarenville; sister Mabel West, Clarenville, Beatrice West (Joe), Gander, Flo Wiseman (Ted), British Colombia and Judy Stanley (Les), Clarenville; brother Larry Strong (Darlene), Clarenville, Bruce Strong (Pauline), Clarenville and Bernard Strong, Toronto; thirteen grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Friday, December 17, 2010 from Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment at United Cemetery, Church Hill. In her memory donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
