It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Francis Bennett announce his passing in Flat Bay, NL on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the age of 31 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents: Ivan and Lorraine Bennett; sisters: Doreen (David) Wilburn, North Carolina, Rachel (Jeff Legge), Flat Bay, NL, Cynthia (Kirk McLean), Stephenville Crossing, NL, Vera (Clyde) Snook, NS, Sylvia (Roy Latter), Edmonton, AB, Crystal (Jason Jesso), NS; niece Julia; nephews: Jake, Dylan, Colton, Kyle, Corbin and Zander, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Francis Miles, Kathleen Miles, Neil Bennett and Evelyn Bennett. Visitation will take place from St. Ann's Chapel, Flat Bay beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday from where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Teresa's following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
