FLEET, Edith Nancy Elizabeth- Edith "Edie" Fleet of Saint John passed away at the Loch Lomond Villa on December 16th, 2010 at the age of 90. Born in December of 1920 in North Kingston, Kings Co, NS to the late Joseph and Hannah Fleet. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, Edith was predeceased by her companion Theodore Keddy. Edith worked for Red Rose Tea for over 50 years and enjoyed spending time with friends and was known for her kind and compassionate way. Before moving to the Loch Lomond Villa she loved to go to the mall and walk.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) By request there will be no visitation, memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday December 20th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
