The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, on Thursday, December 16, 2010, of J. Miller Stevenson, formerly of Fredericton, P.E.I., age 94.
Miller was the beloved husband of Frances (MacDowell), and dear father of Helen Craswell, South Rustico, Alan (Evelyn), Meadowbank, Wesley (Jill), Charlottetown, Donald (Sharon), Toronto and Paul (Lorna), Stratford. He was the grandfather of 18, great-grandfather of 32 and great-great-grandfather of two. Miller is also survived by his sister-in-law, Celia MacDowell.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Ruth (Leslie) MacDowell, Mary (William) Kells and Catherine Stevenson; and son-in-law, Athol Craswell.
Resting at the Sherwood Church of Christ, Lilac Avenue, for visitation on Saturday, December 18, 2010, from 2-4:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at the Sherwood Church of Christ on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. Interment in Fredericton Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Maritime Christian College or the Fredericton Cemetery would be appreciated.
