Levangie ,Francis Alan (Frank) -60 ,Black Point ,Pictou County passed away on December 17th ,2010 after a brief illness. He was the son of Leona (Butler) Levangie and the late Francis Levangie of New Glasgow.
He was employed with Dave's Commercial Cleaning and his toothless grin will be missed by the gang at Michelin. Frank lived in "the compound" in Black Point for over 40 years and spent his free time in the doorway of his shed and under his pine tree where he solved the problems of the world while enjoying his Vitamin O. He was a hard worker and was always willing to provide a helping hand to those who needed it. He was a good friend , a wonderful father ,father-in-law and a devoted husband.
He is survived by his wife (who still considers him the cutest boy on the bus) Brenda (Ervin)

Ann (Juanita Cody) of Truro
Brian of Fort McMurray
Besides his mother , he is survived by sisters Shirley Macleod (David) and Emily Rogers (Darrell Fraser).
He is also survived by brothers-in-law Randall Ervin (Joan) ,Bruce Ervin (Janet) ,Barrie Ervin (Chris) ,Greg Ervin (Barbara) and Bill Ervin (Kate Smith) as well as his sister-in-law Wendy Williams and special brother-in-law Donald Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank is also survived by his chosen sisters Linda Sullivan and Jean Martell and his best friend and brother he never had Jeff Rose.
Visitation will be held at the H.W.Angus Funeral Home ,New Glasgow on Monday from 2-4 and7-9 P.M. . a celebration of Frank's life will be held at the Little Harbour Fire Hall on Tuesday from 2-5 P.M. No flowers by request , donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Frank lived and loved life to its fullest. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the Aberdeen Hospital ICU staff ,Drs Fahim and Farrell, with a special thank you to Sylvia who was an angel in Frank's final days.
