1953 - 2010 - Roland Bourque, 57 of Bathurst and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Friday, December 17th, 2010. Born in Moncton on July 24th, 1953, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Dorina (LeBlanc) Bourque. Roland was a dispatcher for Peoples Taxi in Bathurst for over 25 years. He will be sadly missed by his son Brandon of London, ON, his two sisters, Angela Bourgeois (Frankie) of Memramcook, Rose Cormier (Roger) of Bouctouche, two brothers Bobby Bourque of Moncton and Terry Bourque (Darlene) of Dieppe and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his adoptive parents, Tom and Laura LeBlanc of Bouctouche.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, December 21st, from 10 to noon, 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, December 21st, 2010 at 7:00 pm with internment in the parish cemetery. In Roland's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
